Grimaldi is a historic pizza parlor and tourist spot. Limited seating located in a renovated bank building next door to it’s original, flagship location under the Brooklyn Bridge. If you are not afraid of long lines, it’s worth the wait for a decent coal-fired, brick oven New York pizza. Grimadli’s does not sell by the slice. Whole pies only so come with your appetite.

Area 53 is an indoor urban playground, of sorts, for children and adults alike with 3 locations in Brooklyn: DUMBO and Williamsburg. Hosts fun times like paint ball, laser tag, roller skating and an obstacle course. Private party packages are available or group play. Arcade games and snacks available between plays. Evening play for adults only with libations available onsite. Extremely fun, intense, short Game play with 3 to 4– 10 min sessions. plenty to do in-between group play. Grungy and simple decor with more emphasis on the play than the design.

Perelandra is an independent, locally owned natural food market that’s been around for almost 50 years. For those with food restrictions, allergies or other sensitivities, Perelandra takes great care in sourcing a diverse amount of organic food, environmentally conscious body care products, high quality vitamin and mineral supplements plus healthy in- house/”homemade” prepared foods, baked goods and juices. The prices are a bit higher than nearby Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s but Perlandra has high quality service with extremely knowledgeable staff.

Babel Loft (Members’ Club)
Babel Loft is a hip members’ only club owned and curated by Black women who’ve created a new level of hospitality. Former owners of Prospect Park’s popular lounge Ode to Babel, they grew to create a bigger and better experience with Babel Loft which offers co-working space, private rooms to relax or have private meetings. One of the club’s highlights is a Tasting Room stocked with their own Babel Gin and top choice mixologists.
